It’s after Thanksgiving and time for preparing hearts for Christmas! Advent is almost here! Carols and Christmas shows are filling the airwaves. Shoppers are in a frenzy. And
we want a little peace,
need a lillte peace!
Peace begins with a little God time each day. That’s where an advent reading helps!
Peace continues by making wise time choices.
- Don’t try to do everything. Chose what you want to do and have time to do.
- For hard ones on your list, consider a promise note to do someting together or a gift card with a loving letter.
- All those parties and events might be overwhelming so choose what to attend.
- All those cookies and treats might be too tempting, so eat soeme veggies and healthy snacks befrore leaving home.
Peace comes with speaking encouragement and avodiing engaging in arguements.
- We won’t agree with everyone but we can thank a person for sharing his or her views.
- Silent night and day might be good...pause before speaking and sharing your opinion.
Have a Bleesed Christmas! And may God bless you in the coming year.
