In Acts 17 the Bearean men heard Paul preach at the synagougue. They studied to confirm the truth of the words spoken. This meant reading throuh the Old Testament scriptures since the New Testament was not yet written. Many put their faith in the Lord!
That’s exciting and should inspire us to examine evidence for truth in faith and life. Check out an article I wrote about being bold thinkers .
We are moving out of the postmodern era to a more scholarly era where people want to study, including examining writings about Jesus. That’s exciting!
What are you reading or studying now? It could be key to your spiritual growth and transformation. What Bible study will you pick to start 2026. Growing a Mother’s Heart Bible Study won the AWSA BIble study of the year as it relates common struggles and joys of moms to delving into related scripture passages and ties them to practical tips.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2 (KJV)
